MISSION & VISSION

Mission

The primary goal of the project is to restore hope and provision of basic needs to orphans and vulnerable children in the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia. Sunlight Orphan Center takes care of destitute, orphaned and war raged children. The objectives are to rehabilitate the children with interpersonal development skills through education, Shelter, building of their self-esteem and social living skills. We equip children with psychosocial skills that will enable them to live responsibly in the community.

Vision

Sunlight Orphan Center works toward the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia in which no child’s life is torn apart by war. Armed conflict is very real for millions of children today. Sunlight Orphan Center is committed to supporting these children to overcome their experiences, and have a real chance at a better future.
